Lenten Season, 2014
Throughout the season of Lent, various artists from the congregation meditated on the words, prayers, and hymns of worship. Each artist was assigned a worship service during which they began with a blank canvas and transformed it into a painting that connected with the theme of that service. It was powerful for the congregation to watch these paintings come to life as they sang, read, and pray.
Worship in the Park
July 4th is the town of Wiota's celebration of the year!!! It's the time of year when folks who have moved away all return for a "homecoming". The celebration lasts an entire four days, including djs, live bands, dances, volleyball and baseball games, a parade, and fire works. On Sunday morning, our church also moves its worship outdoors and onto the baseball diamond. It's one of the most exciting services of the year for the congregation!!!
